Starting 5 Challenge: The Finale

What a great season, I can't begin to tell you how much I have appreciated all your support and, yes, even the hate.  It's been fun and I enjoyed the challenges and seeing the amount of participation.  This weekend I offered the challenge to three contestants and only one player beat me.  2-1 in the final week is not bad and the one winner will get two entries into the end of the year raffle.  The scores were as follows:

Fantasy Football Post: 26 points
Carlos Y: 30 points
Eric M: 20 points
Brianna F: 14 points

Congrats to Carlos Y who not only beat me this past weekend but also won the raffle and the autographed Brian Dawkins football.  I will be sending that to him ASAP and I hope everyone enjoyed the contests and blog this year.  Thank you for all your support and tune in tomorrow for the All Fantasy Team for this season.

Starting 5 Challenge

The end of the fantasy year is upon us and some leagues have the unenviable task of playing a championship in Week 17. Good luck to those having to sort through the lineup mess that is week 17. Some seasons have already ended, congrats to those champions, including two of Fantasy Football Posts contributing writers, Carlos Y and myself. But for those playing this week I seriously ask you to consider ending the season in week 16. With players being rested this week, it becomes hard to evaluate the strength of teams as most of those players that got teams to the finals may not be playing. This difficulty presented itself as I made my Starting 5 earlier this week, without know if these players would actually play on this day.

But I want to once again thank you as even though we have been gone for a while, I still received a solid response from you, the reader, and the computer program was able to select our three contestants. Remember if you beat me, you will receive two entries into the raffle for the Brian Dawkins autographed football and the winner will be announced tomorrow. So let's take a look at the starting lineups of all 4 teams.
